Daily – “Hair Color Trends for 2012″

(Photographer: Michael Brandt/ Hair: Kristan Serafino)

It’s a new day, It’s a New Year, it’s a new shade of hair color!  We introduced Celebrity Colorist Paul Smith to our readers when he wrote the intuitive “Guide to Getting Highlights”.  This time SerafinoSays asked Paul if we may please peek over his shoulder as he contemplates the latest trends for hair color that will influence his extensive celebrity clientele in 2012.

Hair Color Trends for 2012

“With Winter upon us and a New Year with us the Color Trends are ‘warming up’. Get that fresh warm glow through adding sumptuous shades of Chocolate. Whether you are a blonde or a brunette warm up your color with soft iridescent tones of milky rich chocolate, subtle tones of soft copper, perfect for Blondes… or glowing tones of deep velvet chocolate, gleaming deep red/ browns, perfect for Brunettes. Have your colorist weave a few subtle lights through your hair or for the more adventurous weave heavily to spice up your look.

In Winter, when are skin is paler this will result in wonderful reflections of warmth against you skin.  Start the New Year looking Healthy and Radiant!”
