Daily – “Last Minute Father’s Day Gift Ideas”

There is Superman, Spider-Man, Iron Man, Invisible Man, Iceman, and X-Men. Growing up as a little girl I knew there was only one person in the world that could kick any superheroes butt.  That person is my Daddy!

He stands 6’1”, he’s super strong, he drives his car really fast, he’s really smart, he is the life of the party, he is madly in love with my Mommy and regardless that I, his daughter is an “A-List Celebrity Hairstylist” with access to any product in the world, he still insists on combing his hair with the same Alberto V05 that he used when he was in high school.

Every year, my sister and I try to top our Father’s Day gift of the previous year.  Not necessarily in cost, but in creativity.  Although sadly, since we became adults we rarely have the chance to be at our father’s side to watch him open our gift.  This year I feel like I received a Father’s Day gift… we are so lucky that he decided all his little girls (my mommy, sister & me) should get together in New York City on his special day.

Now, you would think that knowing my Daddy was coming for a visit my sister and I would be up for the challenge of this particularly special Father’s Day.  A daunting task indeed, but one my sister and I should rise up and conquer.  After all, we have successfully gifted our Daddy (the man that needs nothing and wants even less) year in, year out.

Ha… if only my sister and I were that organized.  Instead we are surfing the web for some exceptionally creative ideas.  I have to admit it is a fun process, but certainly not without a touch of angst.  Fortunately we have narrowed it down to a few and with little time to spare.   If you are anything like us, have fun with the shopping experience.  In fact, I’ve decided to share a few of my gift ideas to make your Father’s Day shopping experience more fun.

I love you Daddy! Hope you enjoy your special day.
