“Step Aside Little Mermaid”

“I am not really a cartoon person, but I can’t wait to see BRAVE. I am absolutely transfixed with Princess Merida’s hair – the animation of that hair is a masterpiece work of art. The color, texture, lights, depth, movement – GENIUS. It was like Pixar revived & hired Da Vinci or Botticelli to animate. I hope I’m able to follow the movie without being hypnotized by that hair.”  Design Director Ellen Tracy- Aaron Potts

Step aside Little Mermaid, a new girl is in town and SerafinoSays loves the direction of her hair.  To quote Mr. Potts,  “it is more Earth goddess running through the fields’ than it is ‘early 80s high glam’.”

It’s all about big, voluminous, blowing in the wind un-kept hair, separation, texture, a disheveled with yet a harmoniously balanced shape.

The variation of Copper interwoven in hair looks as if it was inspired by the fields of Van Gogh “The Red Vineyard”.

Could this hair be the next trend in how women wear their hair? We are Counting on it!

“True beauty isn’t about perfection. By liberating people to realize this simple fact, we help them see the real beauty within themselves.” Kristan Serafino
